About Us

United For Christ Life Saving Word Ministries started as Wednesday Night Prayer Chat & Chew at Myers Philadelphia Recreational Center in 2019 under the leadership of Pastor Christina Brinson. By the end of 2019 and into 2020 we then started having Sunday Worship Service at a Pre-School, then went on to rent an event space on Sunday’s Only, and then on to residing in our current space where we have full daily access. United For Christ Life Saving Word Ministries has persevered through many hard times including the major setback that Covid-19 caused, but by God’s Grace we came out stronger and better. Our church is centered around us being united with Jesus Christ as our cornerstone. Ezekiel 22:30 says

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

Our goal is to do what God wants us to do in this scripture and stand in the gap for underprivilege families, youth, and communities and global unity .

Meet Pastor Christina Brinson

Pastor Christina Brinson is a native of Philadelphia Pa. She was born and raised in a loving Christian home that reared her up in a cultivating environment to embrace God’s call on her life. Pastor Brinson answered the call to start her own church independently in 2018 and the church was fully launched by October of 2019. The road was not easy, but she thrives off of her true passion for God’s people and His Kingdom work being established in the earth to be her inspiration to keep going. Her vision is to see the people of God united with no division, and no partiality and no inequality. She loves to focus in on those in need through her monthly commitment to having outreach programs developed to be a beacon that sparks conformity of faith, hope, love and unity within the communities of those in need. Her love for prayer and the Word of God shines through her teachings, preaching, and praying for her parishioners, visitors and those she comes and contact with. She exhibits the Essence of a Godly Woman of Compassion, Devotion, Integrity and Faithfulness.

Meet 1st Lady Shinelle G. Brinson

1^st Lady Shinelle G. Brinson is the wife of Pastor Christina Brinson and the newly mother of her youngest daughter. She is one of the key pillars of the church that supports the Ministry and Pastor Brinson relentlessly. She is whole heartedly dedicated to seeing that the vision of United For Christ Life Saving Word Ministries is well executed and carried out to the fullest. She has a resilient love and commitment to the underprivilege youth that helped birth her owned business to impact the youth through the Arts. She exemplifies the spirit of excellence in what she does for the Church, work and family that helps brings balance to the life of Pastor Brinson.
